Where Is The Moon?

The very best way for you to find out how the heavens impact your daily round of experiences is to follow the Moon's movement through your chart.

As you probably already know, the Moon's monthly cycle is about 28 days. THis means it travels through one sign of your zodiac in about two and a half days (or approximately 13 degrees per day). If you track where the moon is traveling through your birth chart, you can see what kind of energies and attitudes are being activated in your life.

You Don't Have to Be An Expert To Do This

Go to www.alabe.com and get a printout of your birth chart. Al you need is to have your date, time and place of birth tp ut into their program. It is simple they will walk you through it. Now, if you haven't studied some astrology, this chart wil mean nothing to you. But, don't worry, we are going to do this in a very simple manner.

The next thing to do is go to go to signs of the zodiac and print out that document and keep it nearby for reference. If you look closely at your birth chart, you will find a list of all your planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, etc.) and the signs that they were in at the time you were born. When a planet is found in a sign, it energizes that sign. For example, if your Mars is found in Leo, the energies of Leo are strongly implanted in your nature. Think of a sign as an "attitude" and Mars as "passion." So, Mars passionately stimulates the attitude of Leo in your nature. This means you have a passion for drama, creativity, the arts, sports, children and eternal romance.

As you can see, you need to have some understanding of the signs and the planets and how they reveal the energies that live within you. I have already shown you where you can get a description of the signs , their symbols and meaning. Now you will need to find a list of the planets and what they mean.

At this point, it is assumed that you have this other material and have a good sense of how you were set up by the heavens. (If you don't wnat to do this work yourself, you can get some help from one of our astrologers. See meet our astrologers.)

Once you have clear understanding of your chart, you can start following the daily motion of the Moon. We have provided a chart for you to use for November and December 2007.

At this point you may want to purchase an Ephemeris 2001-?? and you can track the Moon yourself. But we will continue to give you the Moons' monthly cycle here which can be found in any current Ephemeris.

Example No. 1: John is driving his wife to work: John said, "Boy, the traffic is not like yesterday. Everybody was driving crazy, darting in and out of the lanes, and cutting in front of you. This morning's really different." Nancy replied, "It's probably because of the Moon." "What do you mean?", John asked. "Well," Nancy replied, "yesterday I noticed that the Moon was in Åries, which is like the color "red." Aries people are usually very impulsive and usually take unnecessary risks. I think this sign stimulated a lot of these people yesterday. But, today, the Moon is in Taurus, a sign that is slower than molasses." John laughted. "Yeah. It's like they're driving like slugs or something."

Comment: Of course, one planet shifting into a different sign may not cause these effects alone, but if often feels like it. The Moon has a very powerful influence on all of us. By checking its movemnt every day, you can learn a great deal about how the signs affect everyone.
