Lesson One
The Secret of Zodiac Signs

This moment begins your journey as a sage of the sky.

Everyone should be a sage of the sky because the heavens reveal amazingly fruitful answers that you can hardly imagine. It is a wonderful way to discover the secrets of your inner world and how it dictates your destiny.

So, let’s begin to open the doors to what lies above and what lives within.

Above is a simple wheel of the zodiac which, actually, lives within you.

Your lessons of astrology start with this wheel, so you will soon know it very well and begin to know yourself. Notice that this wheel is divided into 12 spaces and each space has a different image.

In traditional astrology those spaces are called “houses” but in Skysage Astrology they are called “theaters.” The reason they are called “theaters” is because each one of these energy fields describes an area of life experience in which we dramatize the specific attitudes of a sign.

For example, the second theater (where the image of the bull is located) is the theater of our personal income and shows our specific attitudes toward money. Look at the wheel below, and you can get a grasp of the depth of each one of these theaters.

Look at all of that information above that you probably have never explored before. This is really great news for you because you have begun a journey that will bear great fruit. Let’s go deeper.

Look at all those zodiac signs—12 to be exact. Did you know that each one of these signs reveal a particular set of human attitudes?

You can begin to grasp the significance of this quite easily if you know the birth dates of a few people. For example, if you have a friend who was born on May 14, his Sun is in the sign of Taurus.

If you understand the major attitudes of a person with Taurus energy you can see immediately that the description of this sign certainly shows  his specific attitudes and how he responds to certain situations.

Here’s a description of the attitudes of a Sun in Taurus person:”Possessive, envious, tenacious, sensuous, earthy, loyal, stubborn and avaricious.”

Now, you might say, “Well, almost everyone may express these attitudes at some time.” In general, that may be true, but these are specific attitudes of the Taurus sign.

You will find the expression of  these attitudes occurring more often when the Taurus sign is present in someone’s birth chart. These Taurus attitudes would be greatly magnified if this person was born with several planets in Taurus. These specific attitudes would be quite apparent.

Your assignment for this lesson is to start with those people you know and find out their Sun Sign (where their Sun was at birth). The information below will help you determine this:

*When the Sun Is Throughout The Year

Aries 3/21-4/19
Taurus 4/19-5/20
Gemini 5/20-6/21
Cancer 6/21-7/23
Leo 7/23 – 8/23
Virgo 8/23 – 9/2
Libra 9/23 -10/23
Scorpio 10/23 -11/23
Sagittarius 11/23 – 12/21
Capricorn 12/21 – 1/19
Aquarius 1/19 – 2/19
Pisces 2/19 – 3/2

*Note: It is important to understand that the above dates are correct, but the Sun changes into another sign at a specific time on that date. This means that at some time on April 19th the Sun will go into Taurus. For example, for April 19, 2016 in Greenwich, England the Sun goes into Taurus at 3:31 pm. This means that the Sun was still in Aries until that time. So, you can see that the Sun on that day was in two signs but not at the same time! This does not mean that a person born on April 19th has her Sun in both Aries and Taurus. You can understand this easily by thinking about the following question: If you are at a swimming pool and stick your toe in the water when is your toe actually in the water? The answer is simple:  When it touches or comes in contact with the water. If you ever hear someone speak of the “cusp” ignore it. The Institute does not promote the idea of  a cusp because it is impossible to interpret correctly. The Sun or planet is either in a sign or it is not! It is important to know for certain what sign the Sun is in. To determine this, you would need to look in an Ephemeris and locate what time the sun changed sign on a particular date. You can locate an Ephemeris on the internet by simply searching or purchase one from online.

Now, it is time to study the descriptions of  the twelve signs.

You can use the descriptions of the signs below as reference to get you started. Your object is to look for those traits and attitudes of the sign in which their Sun is found. You are seeking to confirm your observations so you can begin to see the depth of how much a person’s attitudes are found in the signs. This is very important should you want to study astrology on a deeper level.

Lesson 2

Introducing You to Your Birth Chart

In order to get a copy of your birth chart, you need to know your date, time and place of birth so that this information can be put into a computer and produce your chart. You

When you look at your birth chart for the first time, you may feel a bit overwhelmed. There is a vast amount of information there but it is all in symbols you don’t recognize. Don’t be alarmed. This is natural. It will help you to appreciate this chart if I tell you that many years ago astrologers had to calculate all the signs and planetary positions by hand. This means that astrologers had to understand latitudes, longitudes, table of houses, table of logarithms, time zones and chart systems in order to create a readable and accurate chart. This was a time-consuming, sometimes difficult and tedious chore.

But now, in this modern time, all you have to do is go to www.alabe.com and look for the link “free birth chart page” at the top in the middle of the page, put in your date, time and place of birth and you can print out your chart for free. At this point, you may be saying.  “Well, I printed my chart out, but it might as well be in Russian, ’cause I don’t understand anything about it.” Well, I can understand this. It certainy looks complicated. But don’t be put off by what you see. There are many answers and solutions to your life that you can find here. It is worth taking the time to explore this unknown land.

The Rising Sign

The part of the above chart that would be 9 o’clock on your watch is called “The Rising Sign.” If you look back to Lesson One o find the sign that is on the 9 o’clock of this chart you will discover that President Obama has Aquarius rising. The rising is basically the personality. Read all about Aquarius and you will see how this relates to his personality. The line that marks the border to the first piece of pie is the beginning of the first house. In Skysage Astrology we call a house a “theater” because theaters are where our life experiences are dramatized. It is simply a more meaningful word for what goes on in those theaters.

The Twelve Theaters

Notice as you travel around this wheel from left to right, the theater numbers increase (1, 2, 3, etc.) Do you see these numbers inside the pie shaped theaters? There are 12 of them. You saw this wheel in your first lesson. Notice that there is a new sign where each theater begins. A particular sign rules a theater. Whatever sign is there on the line, that is the sign that rules that part of a person’s life. For example, the rising sign is the personality. Obama’s personality is Aquarian — magnetic, charismatic and highly skilled in expressing himself. But unpredictable. Just when you think you have him figured out, he does something unexpected. So far, this seems to be true in many regards.

You can start now to gain insight into a person’s personality simply by studying people you know and obtaining their rising sign, which is the first theater. Once you find out their birth information, go to alabe.com and get a chart printed out for them. Look at the 9′clock position on the chart and by using the information you used in Lesson One describe the meaning of their rising sign or their personality. Then check to see if these attitudes are displayed in the personality. Don’t be impatient to go to the next lesson. Stay with this observation for a while until you have done a lot of charts. You will begin to see with just this small amount of information, you have learned a lot about how the heavens hold the secret to understanding human beings. Don’t forget that each sign was described in a brief statement in Lesson One. You will see the attitudes of the signs to be quite accurate when you observe how they are expressed through the personality of the individual.

All the best,

Lesson 3

Understanding a Planet In A Birth Chart

This is not difficult.

I’ll show you.

Look at a blank astrological wheel. It has no signs or planets except one. This is so you can fully concentrate on the meaning of a particular planet in a Skysage Astrology Chart. The sign of Aries is on the cusp of the 5th Theater and the symbol for the planet, Saturn, is placed in the 5th Theater. Now we will explore what this means.

We can understand the meaning of this placement if we know that the 5th theater means:

The Fifth Theater

Romance, Creativity, Sports, and Children.

The fifth theater relates to creative self-expression. It shows your artistic skills and creative inclinations, how you love to express yourself, and the people you love or are attracted to emotionally. It also relates to your children (your creations, if you will), sports, entertainment, drama, and risk-taking. It shows the areas where you want to shine—or where you are afraid to shine.

This theater relates strongly to the attitudes of Leo, which always seeks recognition and wants to stand out. If Venus is here in your chart, you may have a strong desire to express yourself through music, acting, singing, or visual arts. If Libra or Leo are found at the tip of the spoke line of this theater then these forms of self-expression are more likely, because the energies of these signs lend themselves to creativity. If Venus in your Fifth Theater is supported in a beneficial cluster by the Moon, Mercury, Neptune, or Jupiter, you will probably be very accomplished in the arts, even to the point of making a career there.

On the other hand, if Venus is wounded by Pluto or Saturn, creative self-expression might be quite difficult for you. The Pluto affliction might lead you to make unreasonable demands upon others to fulfill your creative needs. These negative reactions work against your need to gain support from others. If Saturn wounds Venus in this theater, it can be very difficult to achieve artistic success, or to find a compatible lover, because Saturn creates a feeling of overwhelming vulnerability in art and love that you may be afraid to pursue either. Instead, you may nurture feelings of self-loathing and self-doubt which keep you from expressing the true Venus nature of your Fifth Theater.

Notice that the sign of Ariess rules the 5th theater. Normally, this wold mean that this person tends to be adventurous in love, speculation, art, and romantic escapades. But with the presence of Satunr here there is a totally different story. Why is this. To understand this, you will need to know what the planet Saturn represents in a Skysage Astrology Chart. Here is a description from my book on planeary clusters:

Saturn: Desire to Separate

“Never ignore Saturn. He deserves a lot of respect and attention. His position in one’s birth chart is especially important. Why? Because Saturn seems to be an indicator of your major karma in this lifetime. He shows your deepest fears and what you most likely avoid confronting head on.

Therefore, one of the greatest lessons Saturn teaches is that we should consciously confront what we avoid. This means being willing to feel the pain of what Saturn is revealing, remain open to the process, and understand things as they are. When we allow ourselves to feel what we naturally avoid, we take some of the terror, pain, or suffering out of our wounded clusters. This is especially true when Saturn wounds one or more of our personal planets. There is a certain release in allowing negative feelings to be felt as they are, without qualification or sugar-coating. Over time, this practice seems to help in dissolving many wounded clusters.

In the end, you can’t run from Saturn. He is a great teacher, helping us to grow beyond our limitations. If you can learn to embrace your Saturn, you’ll feel stronger and more fearless in your relationship to the world. If you ignore him, he’ll keep whacking you on the head until you pay attention.”

Summary of What Saturn In the Fifth Theater Means

The person who is born with Saturn in her fifth theater will have some real challenges and serious lessons to learn about love, relationships, children, creativity, and emotional self expression. Many other planetary energies in the chart will effect howSaturn is expressed, but regardless, there will still be growth challenges in the life of this person which relate to the areas mentioned

It is easy to understand why people have a negative view of Saturn. “He” is not generous and requires great effort to overcome the fear he generates and the restriction he imposes upon the person.

But the purpose of Saturn is to teach you how to overcome his fear by always reminding you of what you seem to fear the most. In this regard, it is about emotiional intimacy. Since Saturn challenges you to overcome thislimitation, you can learn the lesson so well that you can become an expert in an area where you were once totally inhibited.

This is the best way to look at Saturn. He brings the lessons we all need to overcome our assumed limitations.

This is only one of twelve possible positions for Saturn in a birth chart. A highly skilled astrologer has to understand all these positions and what they mean in relationship to the other planetary clusters in the birth chart.

==========================================================

Lesson Four

How To Interpret Planetary Clusters

Although it is not required, you can benefit your advancement in astrology quite rapidly if you study the book

“Planetary Clusters . How they Dictate Your Fate…and What YOU Can Do About Them.” Planetary clusters are explained fully in this text. However, you don’t need this book to do this lesson. I just wanted to make you aware of this book since you are somewhat skilled in astrology.

A planetary cluster is simply one or more planets that have a connection in the birth chart. this connection can be a beneficial one or detrimental impulse generated by the planetary combination in this cluster. Let’s look at some examples so this can be more easily understood. Don’t forget the charts below are whole sign charts,

Chart A is a whole chart but only four clusters are shown to illustrate a point. Note that the planet, Mercury in Taurus, forms a red line to the planet, Pluto in Leo. When planets form red lines to each other, they create a wounded cluster. In traditional western astrology, this is called “a square.” Squares are called wounded clusters because there is a wound in the psyche of the person. Painful reactions and great deal of impatience with things as they are. So, in the teachings of Skysage Astrology, squares  are shown as red lines and are referred to as “wounds.

The other cluster formed is between Mercury and Jupiter. Notice that these two planets are in earth signs and, therefore, are in harmony with each other. When clusters are in harmony, they are called beneficial clusters.  Therefore, Jupiter supports Mercury. So, on the one hand Mercury suffers impatience, but when this person turns to Jupiter in Virgo, she has the capacity to solve problems, find answers and get things done in an orderly fashion. This chart illustrates how a difficult relationship between planets (clusters) can be offset by another planet that relates to one of the planets in this cluster in a harmonious way.

Chart A

Chart B, below, is a complete Planetary Profile Chart. This is the kind of chart that a skilled interpreter of planetary psychology would set up for her client in order to fully read it. Note that there are other symbols in this complete chart that guide the interpreter through the maze of planetary clusters. Three new symbols are added to enable the client to understand how their chart is set up.

Chart B

The bird symbol shows the Life Purpose Point and shows where the soul is to begin its journey on earth during this life time. The fire symbol shows the wounded clusters in the chart. Wounded clusters need to be resolved. Therefore, this symbol represents “the path of resolution” that the soul must travel until it learns to resolve the conflict or wound. The green foot symbol represents the “path of achievement(s)” that the soul can travel that are beneficial, supporting, and very helpful.

When the interpreter translates all of this complexity so her client can understand her life, then the client becomes full of understanding and can see what direction she should take in order to fulfill her life purpose.

This new way of interpreting astrological charts, is called Skysage Astrology and was introduced to the world on March 20, 2011 when the book “Planetary Clusters . How They Dictate Your Fate…and What YOU Can Do About Them” was released.

If you are somewhat skilled in astrology and can set up a chart re-draw it so that it is a whole sign chart and put the planets in the correct theaters. Then put the symbols in the chart and start interpreting it in this new way.  You can begin now to use these techniques and vastly improve your understanding of how to really interpret another person’s life. Explore this slowly and you will be richly rewarded with a profound understanding of an astrological chart.

Until the next lesson, I await hearing of your new discoveries,

All the best,

Randall Curtis

Lesson Five

Interpreting Personal Planets

In Lesson Four you learned how to synthesize two planets in various situations. The two planets you used were part of the five personal planets which are closest to the Sun. These are more personal planets because they serve our human survival instincts which are represented by the Sun. You can think of the personal planets as bowing to the Sun as if they were in service to that “deity,” which is also known as the human ego. Review the descriptions of these five planets as listed below and focus in particular on the meaning of each planet

Sun: Desire to Survive

You can look at the Sun as being proud and very conscious of himself. He wants attention and recognition from the Universe and everything in it. He has to feel like he means something in the grander scheme, and that his existence is both vital to and desired by others.

If the Sun shines alone without an audience, he gets very lonely, and feels unappreciated. The Sun could be called the ego in its pure form; I prefer to think of him is as the “I” of the personality. This means the Sun (the “I”) strongly identifies with the sign he is passing through at the time of a person’s birth

The secret hidden in the Sun is that he is the heart of a woman and reflects her male self. This is because the heart of a woman is masculine. When a woman meets a man who reflects her truest heart, she is helpless to resist because the feeling is overwhelming. Never before has she experienced such depth of feeling; it becomes a truly transforming experience, and she is helpless before it. She has no choice but to surrender herself to this love, because she feels this man as her own heart.

What this reveals is that the source of a woman’s love comes from deep within her, but is projected outward upon the man as the source. The experience of such love often feels unbearable, and, if the love is not reciprocated with equal intensity, can actually “break” the heart and destroy the ego’s usual defenses. When the ego is overpowered, it lacks the capacity to defend itself against such heart pain. This lays the groundwork for a transformative experience; whether this experience is positive or negative depends largely on the woman’s planetary clusters.

This type of transformative event has been experienced by several of my clients, and I have noticed that such events tend to occur when the Pluto enters the same sign and degree as a woman’s Sun in her birth chart.

Moon: Desire for Security

The Moon is the great mother, a nurturer who also wants to make sure her own needs for security are being met. She seeks safety and certainty in the world. She wants to perpetuate her brood in order to feel that she has roots in the earth. As the primary source of emotional nurturing, she is the first to feed her child with her milk. She wants to maintain what is, and has a strong desire to preserve what is dear to her.

The secret hidden in the Moon is that she is the heart of a man, and reflects his feminine self. When a man meets a woman who reflects his heart, he falls helplessly in love with her. He has no choice but to surrender himself to this love. He sees this woman as his own heart, and his love for her consumes him. She appears to be the source of a love that transcends all other human experiences. The source of this love lies deep within his own heart, but is projected upon the woman who has awakened it. He has no answer for why he feels this way about her. The experience of such love is usually totally excruciating, and the intensity of it can actually “break” the heart and destroy the ego’s usual defenses.
Several men I know (myself included) have had this transformative experience. If you have not experienced it, it is difficult to understand—but it tends to happen when Pluto enters the same sign and degree of the Moon in a man’s birth chart.

Mercury: Desire to Think

In his pure form, absent any other signs, Mercury personifies neutral communication without bias. But in humans, he is strongly colored by the sign in which he is located. His most natural function is to produce bright and clever ideas—but in Taurus, Mercury is slow and plodding. In Virgo, he is precise, exacting and flawless. He is brilliant in Aquarius, but spaced-out in Pisces.

Where Mercury is located in your birth chart shows how you speak, how you process your thoughts, and the manner in which you reach your conclusions. Some people have “gilded” tongues, wrapping words flawlessly around their ideas. Others have a cruel or cynical way of saying things. Others are matter-of-fact and predictable, even boring.

Although Mercury’s location in the birth chart tells us a lot about the mind of a person, more specific information can be gained by analyzing the planetary clusters in which Mercury is located.

For example, the tongue is ruled by Mercury, so when Pluto is related to him in an unfavorable (wounded) cluster, he becomes a dictator—aggressive, arrogant, selfish, and unreasonable. The presence of Venus with Mercury leads him toward the beautiful, whereas Jupiter can greatly expand mental activities by blessing Mercury with his harmonious rays. If Uranus is related to Mercury in a favorable cluster, the person will probably create something remarkable. When Neptune embraces Mercury in a favorable way, psychic, intuitive, and highly creative powers come to the fore—but if Neptune is unfavorable, Mercury can become deluded and imagine experiences that never really happened.

Venus: Desire to Relate

The human image of Venus is that of a young, beautiful woman who embodies all that is feminine. In isolation, she is sweet, helpful, caring, and congenial. She is desirable, and expresses her own desires in turn.

Venus is the urge within every human being to relate, to bond, and to unite. Without her influence, there would be no love in the world. She embodies the desire within every person to seek relationship with the things he or she enjoys and appreciates. Her greatest desire is to bond with the things that stimulate her attraction. When she cannot connect to what she loves, it makes her unutterably sad.

Venus aspires to sublime experiences. She longs for her soul mate and has a strong movement toward spirituality. When she is wounded in an individual’s birth chart, the person may find it hard to believe they are worthy of being loved.

Mars increases Venus’s sexuality and imbues her with the skills of seduction.Jupiter, in a beneficial cluster, increases her generosity and leads her to feel great love for all people. When Saturn isn’t friendly toward Venus, he takes away her sense of self-worth and undermines her capacity to be open to love, leaving her lonely, sad, and unfulfilled. Uranus makes her feel a little wild; promiscuous, unfaithful, prone to falling in and out of love, and forever in search of the thrill of new relationships. Neptune’s favor can move her toward the arts, while Pluto’s wrath turns her into a tyrant whose demands require that parents, lovers, spouses, and friends lay down their very lives in support of her.

Mars: Desire to Take Action

Mars in his purest form is a planet of action. He gives drive to the ego. Always in search of something to do, Mars feels very happy in fire or air signs.

Mars wants what he wants, and his fiery nature gives him lots of energy to fulfill his desires. His aggressive nature feeds upon itself; he is very important to himself, and will fight and struggle to get what he wants. In mythology, Mars is the god of war, but he is also strongly connected to sexuality; in a man’s chart, he shows a strong desire to penetrate and claim Venus, his feminine partner. In a woman’s chart, he expresses the desire for passionate physical connection with, and penetration by, a partner.

Although Mars is happiest in Fire signs, he seems to do quite well in Capricorn and Virgo, but Taurus and Pisces can make him a little sluggish. If Mars is strongly connected to Mercury, the person might display a sharp tongue, and show an arrogance which can be quite offensive. If aligned with Venus, Mars becomes a hunter in pursuit of sexual thrills. If united with Jupiter, all things seem possible, although sometimes Mars will go beyond sensible boundaries.

If connected with Saturn in a negative way, Mars can be cruel and full of rage, but in a favorable relationship, Mars can sustain his efforts over a long period until success is achieved. A friendly Uranus imparts muscular skills and success in sports, but when Uranus is connected to Mars adversely, Mars must take care not to be inconsiderate in his actions because accidents could happen. The presence of Neptune can lead Mars to chase fantasies, dreams, and develop artistic skills. If Neptune is negative toward Mars, however, Mars can be quite cunning and deceptive.

Your task is to interpret the nature of an individual by simply using the sign (attitude) positions of their personal planets. You will be given three charts to analyze in this way. I have not yet analyzed these individuals myself.

While the information I am going to give you would relate to someone born on the earth at that time, we do not know who they are. Also we have no way of knowing if they are male of female.

If you do not have a computer program that generates charts, check out the astrological websites who give away free charts and input the birth data of these three individuals into their system and print out their charts. You will then list the five personal planets for each person and analyze them from that basis. Make sure you keep a record of these five planets so you can submit them along with your analysis if you are asked to do so. Analyze each person as a whole and not just their planetary descriptions. Explain any contradictions you might find. Always provide astrological reasons for your analysis of any person.

Here is the birth data of the three people:
Person A: Born 6/2/73, 7:00 am, Norfolk, VA
Person B: Born 12/14/65, 4:34 pm, San Diego, CA
Person C: Born 3/2/70, 11:24 pm, San Francisco, CA

Lesson Six

How to Use Astrology to Understand Relaionships

What is it that makes a great relationship?

The answer is: chemistry. But how do you determine what the real chemistry is between you and another person? How can you measure it?

When we talk about chemistry to most people they describe it as “just something I feel.”  This means that they sense the “good  or bad vibes” between them and another person.

If we look to science to explain this chemistry, we will fall short because science refuses to take astrology seriously. But this is  serious error. They say they have looked every where for proof but have found none. This is truly mind-boggling. because all they have to do is do what you can do…look at the signs and planets and you find the answers you need quite easily.

As many great astrologers have discovered, the tendencies of the signs of the zodiac are embedded in the nervous system of everyone. It is interesting to note that some astronomers are not asleep to this.  Here is what Dr; Percy Seymour, an astronomer at Plymouth University, said in his book on the science of astrology:

“…The whole Solar System is playing a symphony on the magnetic field of the earth…We are all genetically tuned to receive a different set of melodies from this symphony…The womb is no hiding place form the al pervading and constantly and fluctuating magnetic field of earth; so the symphonic tunes which we pick up can become part of our earliest memories. It is in the womb that some of the ‘ magnetic music of the spheres  become etched on our brains.”

The easy part to remember is that zodiac signs are expressed in people as specific attitudes. For example, a woman with Venus in Taurus does not have the kind of chemistry that attracts a man who has his Mars in Aries.

Many astrologers will explain that the reason for this is that the planets are in signs that are not in harmony. But they need to go one step further and explain why the signs are not in harmony.

Discord and harmony between people are based on the four elements of fire, earth, air, and water which are not dependent on aspects between planets..Look at the following diagram and you can clearly see which signs are in harmony and which signs are in discord. For example, notice that Taurus is in an earth energy field and Aries is in a fiery energy field. Simply ask yourself, “Does fire and earth work well together?” Of course not. This is why the signs reveal conflict in attitudes when the planets are in inharmonious signs.

Of course, a relationship certainly involves more than two planets. All the planets and the signs they are in must be looked at in order to really determine if the chemistry is harmonious or not. Otherwise, it is so easy to make a serious error in judgment. This is also why sun sign astrology does not provide enough information to be really accurate.

For example, you may have your Mars in the same sign as a man’s Venus. This is an intense sexual attraction. While you may read this as “love at first sight,” it might primarily be “sex at first sight.” In any case, you know and feel this energy. It is unmistakable.

This man may also have his Saturn in a sign that is adverse to your Venus. This would most likely mean that he would end up not liking you because Saturn will functions as an inhibitor of what your Venus desires. While this may really sound strange to you, all you need to do is a little research and I assure you that you will begin to discover things about astrology that will simply amaze you.

This is why it is a serious mistake to analyze only a planet or two to determine the real chemistry between people. This is what I call “romantic roulette.”

The chart above in Figure 2, shows you quite clearly which signs are in harmony and which are not. With this information, you don’t have to rely upon planetary aspects (orbital distance between planets).

But you do need a few more tools. Here is what you can do.

Go to alabe.com and get a printout of a birth chart. Follow instructions on how to put in your birth information and your other person’s birth information into their program and it will generate a printout of your charts.

Now don’t become alarmed when you look at these charts. Don’t let all those symbols overwhelm you. Be sure to use Figure 3 below to determine what signs all your planets are in and what signs all the other person’s planets are in.

Figure 3

Most printouts of a chart will list the planets and signs in a format something like Figure 4 below which enables you to see the relationship more clearly.

.Figure 4.

You                 Him

This chart is a summary of a woman and her mate. Her information is on the left. His is on the right. Since I want to keep this simple for you, we will not compare all the planets to each other in Figure 4.

Let’s assume the above column on the left is a summary of a woman’s planets.

Mars in a woman’s chart shows the kind of man she is attracted to. Notice that her Mars is in Leo. So she is attracted to the Leo man in the right column or any man with Leo planets. This is quite unusual, because her Mars is in harmony with nine of his planets!

Figure 2 will tell you what air and fire signs are in harmony with Leo. The fire column shows that Aries and Sagittarius are in harmony with Leo and the air signs of Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius are in harmony with Leo.

Look at the man’ column in Figure 4 and you will see that all of his planets (except the Moon in Taurus) are in harmony with Leo. This is a very powerful attraction.

But wait.

Notice that her Pluto in Leo is adverse to his Moon in Taurus. This combination creates a lot of discord between them because the impulse of her Pluto in Leo wants to transform his reluctance to express how he really feels about her. In short, a man with a Taurus Moon tends to be closed mouth about his inner feelings. Her Leo desire wants more emotional connection. Further, his Pluto is adverse to her Sun, Mercury, and Venus in Scorpio. Just like Taurus, Scorpio people do not like to reveal their deeper feelings unless they completely trust the other person.

In conclusion, while this couple has great attractions for each other, they will often fight “tooth and nail” to get the other person to meet their demands. But, in this case, nobody wins because each person tends to issue ultimatums which is no basis for a loving relationship.

This analysis clearly shows why it is very dangerous to rely upon one or two planets to explain the harmony or discord in a relationship. If you would like to receive an analysis of your relationship, go to www.skysage.com/how-to-get-answers-from-the-sky/
